Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Data management and protection policies
The collection of personal data about registered and unregistered users of the journal is limited to the standard operating purposes of all peer-reviewed scientific journals. Thus, only information essential for the evaluation and publication procedures of contributions is collected; to inform readers about authorship and editorial processing of content; and to delineate in aggregate and anonymous form readers' preferences for articles, as well as their national and geographical origin. They are then used exclusively for scholarly communication purposes.

The Editorial Board uses the data only to manage the workflow and to improve the quality of the journal. The data may be shared in part with OJS developers (PKP), always in an anonymous and aggregated form, with the sole exception of publication, consultation and download metrics of contributions. The data will never be used for commercial purposes or for purposes other than those stated here, either by the Journal, the publisher, or PKP.

Authors who publish in the journal are responsible for the data they report regarding persons mentioned in their scientific contributions.

The management of the journal complies with data protection standards, including the provisions of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding "data owner rights," which include (a) breach notification; (b) right of access; (c) right to be forgotten; (d) data portability; and (e) privacy by design.

After all, even the GDPR recognizes the "public interest in the availability of data," which is of particular relevance to all those who are committed to ensuring, with as much integrity as possible, the public visibility of the products of scientific research.
